Volunteer requirements
Volunteer requirements
From 2026, all parents, family, or community members who wish to volunteer for excursions, camps, classroom support, or school events will be required to have relevant screening and induction. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students, and to guarantee the suitability of volunteers to work with children.
All volunteers must complete the following screening and documentation including:
- Department for Education volunteer application form
- Department for Human Services Working with Children Check (WWCC) (free for volunteers)
- Complete the Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) course
- Complete the Department for Education General Induction
